I have been writing and releasing music as Hidden Sky for four years now. I can't tell you how much joy it has brought me to create and share this slowly shifting blissful deluge.

I hope to let each song be whatever it wants to be.
I hope I can reflect that feeling back towards myself and to others.
I have tried to listen as deeply as I know how - to create music which is true and patient.

Some songs have distinct elements, but largely I have tried to create music which has no clearly discernible parts, structure, rhythm.
I want to create music which the brain and the body can't anticipate, interpret or analyse.

Unsurpassed Miracle Beauty is the fourth and final in a series of works which explore this idea of purposely dismantling all hope of cognitive understanding. In this Almost Barely Fathomable space is where something very true lies.

A collection of ambient songs written between 2016-2019.
All songs written, mixed, mastered by Carlin McLellan.

Each song is a marker of a specific place and time.
Arc takes me to an endless summer in Haukijarvi, Finland.
Trust throws me down in my Ashfield backyard, garden growing wild.
Forgive - a cabin in the woods with friends. We are so lucky.
Falling Into is a night almost forgot, frenzied creation, endless grace.

These disparate moments are loosely bound together, a contour gradually emerges.
