This album is (will be) a collection of simple songs using simple chords.
In my compositions I almost compulsively avoid using major and minor triads, which form the basis of most popular music.

My natural impulse tends towards obscurity and ambiguity - Open chords and harmonic progressions that are just (barely) there, difficult to distinguish.

So I'm challenging myself here. Sticking to traditional chords and writing progressions that are easy to follow.

For each track I will notate the chords used, so that you can follow along. Feel free to use these tracks as a framework in your own songwriting. Perhaps you'd like write your own words and sing along to these songs. I would love to hear that.
